ROBOTICS IN BIOMEDICINE
Definition
Biorobotics is that part of robotics and cybernetics that enters bipengineering to develop new technologies that can integrate biology with mechanical systems in oder to have machines that imitate biological systems. It also develops more efficient communication. Particularly important for bioprothesis (see the biomedical devices section).
Personal appreciation
Robotics in medicine is still a developing field, even in biomedical engineering. Therefore, I cannot already tell you too much about my appreciation for this field, however, I believe it is a field to keep an eye on, particularly on the haptic devices specialty.
